Those of you who subscribe to HM may recollect my tribute to the legendary Winsor McCay in the last issue. I had also sent a hand-colored version to our gracious host for display upon his website.
Well, dear Aatheus, you have been trumped - and by a human, no less! A sample copy which I had sent to one Comus (a gatekeeper for the sorceress-goddess Circe) is now up for all to see. Had anyone been curious as to the coat colors of these characters; or if they have not seen the B/W original, they may get their first glimpse here.
I do have a couple of other 'taur-related pieces at that same site (done as a thank-offering to Circe for certain services rendered); but those, and the staury behind them, must wait for another day....
