Rapture was brought up by an extremely wealthy family and was given whatever she wanted, the classic spoilt brat in a way. When she turned 18 Rapture became bored with her affluent lifestyle and left home to peruse a career, even though she is the heir to her parent’s multi-million dollar beauty product company.

She took several jobs and apprenticeships that had to do with fashion and beauty, and found that they were the perfect things for her to do. Rapture was then offered a place at an image consulting office and she accepted. She worked there for a year, but got fed up with the amount of bad tasks shunted over to her. Rapture quit and travelled around different towns until she arrived seeking accommodation at Cherry’s lodge. She found out about Furres for Hire and applied to be a fashion consultant, needless to say, she was hired.

-Personality-

Rapture has an obsession with fashion. Unfortunately, due to it, Rapture can’t stand anyone with who wears bad clothes or has a bad fashion sense overall. If she ever has to talk to them, she’ll argue with them until she gets her point across that they need her consulting skills.

Many times, Rapture has been seen going through piles of clothes for hours on end. This usually ends up with Rapture being a little cranky at times because she doesn’t get enough sleep.

Rapture is a perfectionist and rarely lets anything go unless she’s absolutely happy with it. Some tend to think she is arrogant, pushy and a snob. She can be when she wants to be, but she is caring, (or else she’d be putting hideous outfits on people and telling them they look perfect). Her childhood in a rich mansion may be the main reasons for most of her snooty behaviour.

When talking about her family, Rapture is proud to boast about the fact that her parents are rich, though she will discuss nothing more about them. For the most part, Rapture likes doing nothing more than talking, shopping or doing her job.

• Rapture has training in massage, but she hates to give any.
• They may look like natural markings, but actually those 'markings' are just cleverly-done make up.
• Rapture's wardrobe is full of many wonderful and scary clothes...
• When Rapture starts to reccommend wearing snorkles with ponchos, then you know she's on the verge of falling asleep.

-A little insight into Rapture from the creator-

Like Cherry, Rapture was created at the same time through an attempt at a tutorial for different Ixi designs on Neopets. I liked Rapture's design so much, I turned her into a real Ixi- thus Raptured_Beauty was born.

Getting Rapture into the Giving & Co comic was extremely difficult, seeing as her markings were not 'acceptable' under the Neopian Times rules. The comic with her did eventually go through, but with a note from the editor saying it was 'make up'.

Funnily enough, it was this event that created the current personality of Rapture. She had already been aloof and such, but the make up really completed her and gave her her current occupation of image consultant.

Rapture's furry design wasn't made by me- it was from a wonderful friend of mine in Canada. I was really surprised by he picture I had been sent. The design was perfect and summed up Rapture so well. And there you have it!
