Yeah, you know love it. Now play the Badger Card Game! Made with permission from the Weebl.

The rules: There are three cards - Badgers, Mushrooms and a Snake. Duh. A complete Badger deck consists of 48 Badgers, 8 Mushrooms and 1 Snake. The game is played by playing cards in the correct order. The winner is the person to discard all his or her cards.

Divide the deck amongst all the players. One player starts by playing a Badger. The next player in turn may then play a card. A player may play a Badger or a Mushroom on a Badger. If a Mushroom is played the next player must also play a Mushroom, or else pick up all the cards. After two Mushrooms the next player must then play a Badger (or else pick up).

A Snake can only be played on twelve consecutive Badgers. Playing a Mushroom resests the Badger count. Playing a Snake clears all the cards underneath from the game (it is possible to wind up with a Snake and less than 12 Badgers!) Mushrooms may be played on any number of Badgers, but never a snake (or else pick up).

Variants: If playing with fewer than four players it is permissible to use only 36 Badgers in the deck and play Snakes on only 8 Badgers. Cards: Here is what you need to make a deck - click the thumbnails for high-rez images. I recommend pasting them into sheets in a graphics program to make the most use of card stock. Print the backing on the reverse side of the sheets and cut out.
