Cumberland Sausages


10 Beef sausages

2 Brown onions

3 Carrots

1 teaspoon Minced garlic

0.5 cup Gravy powder

3 cups Water

0.25 cup Orange juice

0.25 cup Redcurrant jelly

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce


Brown the sausages and place in the pre-warmed slow cooker. Brown the onions and carrots. Add garlic and cook for a further minute. Place into the slow cooker.

Stir together the remaining ingredients in a bowl until you have a smooth sauce. Pour over the sausages and vegetables and close the lid.

Cook on low for 5 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
