How I Found Jesus

This story began as a simple play on words. On television and in church I've heard newly converted people speak about how they found Jesus. One day I was struck with the mental picture of finding Jesus if a more literal sense: driving down the road and there he was. Actually writing the story proved exceedingly difficult, more so than any other project I'd attempted because it dredged up a lot of stuff about my own life I didn't feel comfortable confronting. But throwing it away seemed like a terrible waste, so here it is.
